Does anyone else find it annoying by the overwhelming video clips there are on news sites? Call me old fashioned but I like to read the news not listen to it.
Everywhere you look, from Wall Street Journal to CNN it’s all the same. Its a giant picture on the front page with a flash video 3 lines under the content. Pretty annoying in my opinion.
Check it out below..

There are 2 major flu tracking websites out there currently. One for the general flu and one for H1N1. I’ve attached the links below.
http://flutracker.rhizalabs.com/ This one is for H1N1.
http://www.google.org/flutrends/us/ This one is for the general flu.
I can tell you first hand that I’ve seen co-workers taking more sick days this year than in many previous years. Some of it might just be the paranoia of sickness since the media is harping on it pretty bad this year.

I’m going to be turning this into my own personal web-blog. It’s going to morph over time into a personal blog of sorts of things that I find interesting.
I am a novice photographer and an experienced tech professional. I think my unique perspective and my dark sense of humor might be a nice ride for whoever wants to come along.

Here is a link to the blackberry appworld via the web. It’s nice since sitting on a blackberry can take forever. Here you can view the apps quickly and browse the store. Enjoy

It’s pretty much a fact. The OECD, a group that calls for “fairness” in economics worldwide conducted some studies. Each of these included both low, med, and high cell usage from voice, mms, and sms messages.
And the biggest loser is? America. Yup, getting screwed by the man yet again.
In my travels I’ve been to several countries where they provide pay-as-you go service. There is no “activation” fee or any other BS charges associated with the line. In taiwan for example they have cell phones that accept multiple sim cards and a normal user of data/voice the average cost is about 10 bucks per month.

Blackberry Appworld cannot run applications from the “archive” aka microSD card. See below from their own FAQ’s. That might be the lamest workaround to an issue ever!
What happens if I archive an application?
If a BlackBerry smartphone user archives an application it is uninstalled and can no longer be used. However, the archived application may be restored for use at a later date.
Note: It is recommended that the application remain in “archived” status in My World and not be deleted or uninstalled otherwise the user must re-download the application and will incur data download charges.
Can I run applications from my external media card?
No, applications can only be stored on an external media card. BlackBerry smartphone users must restore an application that exists on an external media card to use it.

It’s a free MMO. Some would say it’s a WOW clone, and much of it looks very similar but the mechanics are very different.
Best part of the game in my opinion is the Dual Class system. Getting bored with 1 class sucks, and re-rolling sucks even more, you can now select 2 classes on 1 character and swap classes when you want! You benefit from their skills as well.

1-800-GOOG-411
I’ve used this for a while but it’s an extremely solid product. It’s entirely voice activated and unlike the other “free” 411 services this one does NOT have ads.
